Portsmouth doing the best they have in my life time and now we get our manager and chief executive arrested for "suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting" Seems the Police have found something they didn't like about the transfer of Amdy Faye as he has also been arrested along with his agent Willie McKay and ex-chairman Milan Mandaric. Think this ends Redknapps chance of being England manager! Saturday, November 24

Pompey achieve their 5th straight away win in the Premiership, beating a managerless Birmingham team. By all accounts not our best performance but a goalkeeping mistake early on allows Sulley Muntari to grab the lead and that is followed by a wonderful freekick by Nico Kranjcar to seal the points Wednesday, November 21

No Euro 2008 to look forward to. As expected McLaren and his diabolcal England team failed to take advantage of the lifeline Israel had given us. Starting with just one up front we fail to threaten the the Croatian goal at all, leaving it to an inexperienced Scott Carson to out do Paul Robinson and gift our very own Niko Kranjcar an opening goal. Even after drawing the game back to 2-2 and just needing to hold out we manage to throw it away by conceding again. McLaren out!!!!!!

Well he got a lucky break in that Russia failed to do what was expected of them. Now all McLaren has to do is get a draw against Croatia. Being the idiot he is it now looks like David James has been relegated to 3rd choice keeper, no doubt he will add to his incompetance by dropping Campbell to bring in an un-fit John Terry and probably start with Beckham as well. Come on Nico Kranjcar!!

Another scoreless draw at home but a good game. David Nugents run of bad luck continues after is shot takes a slight deflection, bounces off the inside of the post, across the goal line and then somehow out for a goal kick. In all a fair result as their defence, particularly Richards, shut down our strikers very effectively. Saturday, November 10

...at the continuing misfortunes of Southampton Football Club. Going broke, the January transfer window approaching, no sign of Paul Allens yacht and then getting walloped 5-0 by Sheffield Wednesday. It' s a good time to support Portsmouth. Friday, November 9

I must query the criteria when it all it takes is a manger talking to you before you play your first game for over a month, and that only being against a celebrity 11, for you to be considered good enough for a place in the team. As far as I'm concerned Beckham withdrew from international football when he went to play in a minor league for the money. On top of that he will be guaranteed to continue with Paul Robinson in goal. Hate to say it but McLaren is a spineless jerk. Saturday, November 3

A much needed win after a couple of poor performances against West Ham and Blackburn. Not since 1949 had we won at St James' Park and we did it in style, totally outplaying a disappointing Newcastle team. An opening screamer from Noe Pamarot should be contender for goal of the month, but will probably go to a 5yard Rooney tap in again, followed by both Utaka and Benjani showing strength in muscling off a Newcastle defender each time to score. Niko Kranjcar finished the rout in the second half with a cross that may or may not have got a deflection on its way into the net. Friday, November 2
