Finally managed some small revenge on Liverpool for that heartbreaking semi-final defeat in 92 by winning on penalties.

Finally got both Philip Rees 5x5 switches working together. Didn't get a manual with either of them so had to go searching for the wiring convention, even the Philip Rees website doesn't contain any info on this item but the man himself supplied me with what I needed thankfully.

Not long after the guy who sold me the second unit found the manual and said he would send it on, unfortunatly he didn't put enough postage on it so the PO want £1.30 off me before they will let me have it, as it happens I don't need it anymore.

I know have a fully working switchable 5 in and 10 out MIDI patchbay, considering how bad my soldering is I'm surprised it works!

Not the most inspiring of pre-season wins but considering the fact they beat us last year I can't complain. David Nugent looked a handful, if only his shooting wasn't the same standard as Benjani's.

Davis scored with na lovely lob over the goalkeeper followed by a goal from Frank Songo'o, who looks like another Courtney Pitt to me!

Dave Nugent seems to be taking his time making a decision to join us having already pissed off Sunderland so much that they pulled out. Latest rumours say signing Wednesday, believe it when I see it.

Same seems to be happening with John Utaka who has also been about to sign within the next 24 hrs for the last two weeks.
