View Article  Gurkhas

Well done the Gurkhas for achieving a high court victory and gaining the right to stay in this country

Shame on a government that tried to prevent it in the first place!

How they can justify welcoming asylum seekers and west hating Muslims while trying to bar people who have served in this countries armed forces bewilders and pisses me off big time

View Article  Portsmouth 2 v 0 Tottenham

At last a performance we can be proud of against a very poor Spurs team.

Fittingly it was the two ex Spurs lads in Defoe and Crouch who got the goals.

Game achieved prominence for the widespread condemnation of Spurs fans for their treatment of Sol Campbell

View Article  Havant 2 v 2 Shortwood

The start of this years FA Cup for the local teams and once again Havant disappoint.

Majority of the play but a light weight attack means we again have to rely on the defenders to score the goals. Looked like we may have scrapped a victory against a team two divisions below us but a last minute equalizer forced it to a replay.

Gary Elphick was sent off, rather harshly in my opinion and both sides ended up with 10 men

View Article  Portsmouth 0 v 4 Chelsea

Ten goals in two games! We knew we would be in trouble when we saw the team Chelsea put out

Whatever happened to our so called brilliant defense.

Another slightly worrying performance from the usually dependable David James and too be honest Chelsea could of scored far more. The only crumb we can cling to is that it wasn't' tour full squad!

View Article  Manchester City 6 v 0 Portsmouth

Yes that's 6-0!!

What a fecking embarrassment, can't even blame it on the Arab millions yet!

We were awful, no excuses

View Article  Havant & Waterlooville 1 v 4 Hampton & Richmond

Not the continuation of good form we hoped for but typical of Havants home form!

Seriously lacking in any firepower up front again which means we rarely take advantage of any possession we have.

Highlight of the game was the four sendings off! Jay Conroy and Craig Watkins went for Havant

View Article  Portsmouth 2 v 0 Vitoria Guimaraes

We're all going on a European tour!

And what a start we had. Great game and performance at an unusual time of day to watch a football match.

Lassana Diarra outstanding and scored the first goal followed by a late one from Defoe who also managed to miss a penalty

View Article  Portsmouth 2 v 1 Middlesbrough

Following on from the brilliant performance against Everton we reach the same standard against Middlesbrough albeit giving them a goal headstart before a couple of goals from Defoe win the game.

A very impressive debut by Nadir Belhadj

Finally got one and sitting comfortably on its brother the NanoBass

Luckily I got a PSU with this one so no additional expense!

View Article  Deadline Day

Transfer deadline day is usually a hectic and exciting time for Pompey fans, but this time it was rather dull.

The only significant signing was Nadir Belhadj from Lens, but know nothing about him. The only other incoming player was Jon Stewart a young goalkeeper from Weymouth.

No players sold just Martin Crainie and Linvoy Primus moving to Charlton and Jean Francois Christophe to Southend on loan.

There was a rumour that we were the team in for Joey Barton with either Djimi Traore or Lassana Diarra moving the opposite way depending on which rumour you read.
